Why This Blog Exists

Run to the Next Mile is my personal space to track the journey. A place where running meets reflection.

This site is about more than training logs or race results. It is where I reflect on what running has taught me, from discipline and resilience to staying grounded when life moves fast.

I started it to capture my journey while everything is still fresh and to create something lasting for my kids. Whether you are a fellow runner, a curious beginner, or someone trying to stay consistent in a chaotic world, I hope you find something here that speaks to you.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Weekly training breakdowns and race prep. Real numbers, real setbacks, and real wins from the road.
  • Honest thoughts on wearable tech, gears, running accessories.
  • Reflections on running through midlife. What works, what hurts, and what actually helps you heal.
  • Stories from the road and the treadmill. Because every mile has a memory, and not all of them are easy.
  • The mindset behind the miles; motivation, fatigue, and mental clarity.

I’m not chasing perfection here. I’m embracing progress, one mile at a time.
